Free verbal appraisals by appointment with the Valuers for Antiques & Collectors Items brought to the Salerooms.
Home visits are also made by appointment for large consignments or less portable Antique items. Alternatively, if you have just one or two large items then why not send us a photograph by post or email (contact us for our email address).
Probate Valuations
Our Valuers provide Solicitors, Executors & Trustees with a written valuation report for Inheritance Tax purposes. If necessary we can highlight any items of high value separately within the valuation or identify specific bequests.
Items which do not comply with current legislation or which are of non-sale value are noted for your information.
Our fees are based upon time taken, however if all the quality items are to be sold we can provide a complete house clearance service and we normally will not make a charge for the Valuation.
Insurance Valuations
It is wise for Antiques of high value to be properly documented in case of loss. We provide a detailed inventory and valuation of high value items within the property.This should help assist your Insurance Company/Loss Adjuster if you are unfortunate enough to lose items by fire, flood or theft.
Our fees are based upon the nature of the work involved and the time taken.
